# How do I trim or edit a sound?

> Open a sound in the Edit tab, then select, trim, and undo as needed.

## Steps

1. Open a sound in the Edit tab. You can open one from Browse, from AI, or from your uploads.
2. Drag across the waveform to select the part you want.
3. Click Cut to remove the part you selected.
4. Changed your mind? Use Undo and Redo. You can step back up to 25 times.
5. Tap the A/B button to compare the before and after.
