# How do I see what my whole sound system sounds like?

> Open Analyze → Tonal and run the analysis. It scores how cohesive your sounds are, names the ones that drift, and shows how brightness is spread across the file.

## Before you start

- A canvas scan, so there are sounds to measure.

> **Note:** This one has to listen to every sound, so it only runs when you click. Progress is shown, you can stop it, and if the set is capped it says so.

> **Tip:** The family fit check in the editor asks about one sound. This asks about the whole file at once.

## Steps

1. Open the Analyze tab and pick Tonal.
2. Start the analysis and wait while your sounds are measured.
3. Read the cohesion score — one number for how much the set hangs together.
4. Look through the outliers. Each names the sound and how far it sits from the middle.
5. Click an outlier to select that layer on the Figma canvas.
6. Check the brightness distribution and the per-category table to see which categories drift as a group.
