# How do I save sounds to a mood board?

> The Mood Board lives in the Browse tab. Create a group, then add candidate sounds to it so you can shortlist and compare a direction.

> **Note:** A sound row only shows the "Add to mood board" button once you have at least one group, so create a group first.

## Steps

1. Open the Browse tab, then click the Mood Board sub-tab.
2. Click Create Group (or New Group), type a name, optionally pick a color, then click Create Group.
3. Switch to the sound list, find a sound, and click its folder icon (Add to mood board) to drop it into your group.
4. Open the Mood Board sub-tab again anytime to play and compare your shortlist.
