# How do I keep my tokens in sync with a Git repo?

> Open Tokens → Export → Git Sync, connect GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket, and push or pull the token file so design and code stay on the same source.

> **Tip:** Test the connection before your first push. It confirms the repo, branch, and access token are right without writing anything.

> **Careful:** Pulling replaces your local tokens with what is in the repo. Export a copy first if you have unsaved local work.

## Steps

1. Open the Tokens tab, go to Export, and pick Git Sync.
2. Choose your provider and fill in the repository, branch, file path, and access token.
3. Test the connection, then save the configuration.
4. Push to write your tokens to the repo.
5. Pull to bring the repo’s tokens back into the plugin.
6. Use Clear configuration to remove the connection and its stored token.
