# How do I find sounds similar to one I like?

> Each row in the Browse list has a Find similar sounds action. It ranks the sounds Browse has loaded by how close they actually sound to the one you picked.

> **Note:** Comparing sounds means listening to each one, so the search works on a capped number of loaded sounds. The panel always tells you how many it looked at.

> **Tip:** Scroll further down the list before you search. The more sounds Browse has loaded, the more it has to compare against.

## Steps

1. Open the Browse tab in list view and find a sound you like. The action is on rows, not on the grid cards.
2. Hover the row and click the Find similar sounds action on the right.
3. Wait a moment while Sound Kit listens to the candidates. Progress is shown as it goes.
4. Read the ranked results. Each one shows how close it is, and its loudness where that could be measured.
5. Play a result to check it, then use Add to canvas straight from the panel if it is the one.
