# How do I export my sound tokens to a file?

> In the Tokens tab, use the export action. Pick the tokens and the format, preview what will be written, then copy it or download it.

> **Paid feature:** Design token export is a Pro feature.

> **Note:** Tokens are written in the W3C design-token format, so other design-system tooling can read them without a converter.

## Steps

1. Open the Tokens tab.
2. Open the export action from the toolbar.
3. Choose which tokens to include.
4. Pick the output format.
5. Check the preview of what will be written.
6. Copy it to your clipboard, or download it as a file.
