# How do I connect Freesound or my own sound library?

> Open Settings, then Sound Libraries. Freesound needs an API key, a Custom CDN needs a URL, and libraries like BBC and Mixkit need no setup at all.

> **Paid feature:** Searching the premium libraries from inside Figma is a Pro feature.

> **Note:** Sound Libraries in Settings is also the only place to disconnect a source and remove its stored key.

## Steps

1. Open Settings from the footer and pick Sound Libraries.
2. Find the library you want and click Connect. Freesound asks for your own API key; a Custom CDN asks for the base URL of your files.
3. Libraries that need no setup, like BBC and Mixkit, are listed as already available.
4. Go back to Browse and pick the source from the library dropdown to search it.
5. To revoke a connection, come back to Sound Libraries and click Disconnect.
