# How do I check my sounds are consistent?

> Open the Consistency Report in the Canvas tab. It flags screens that use different sounds for the same role and volume that drifts from one screen to the next, then offers a one-click fix for each.

## Before you start

- Scan your file in the Canvas tab first. The report only looks at sounds on scanned video nodes, so you need a few of those before there is anything to check.

> **Tip:** Run this before you hand off to developers. Fixing clashes now saves a round of back-and-forth later.

> **Note:** The report only reads the sounds already on your scanned video nodes. It changes nothing until you click a fix button.

## Steps

1. Open the Canvas tab and run a scan if you have not already, so your video nodes appear.
2. In the results header toolbar, click the warning triangle icon (its tooltip says "Consistency Report") to open the report.
3. Read each issue card. The report flags three things: the same role using different sounds, role-looking nodes with no sound, and loudness targets that drift between nodes.
4. To apply a suggested fix, click the wand button on a card. Its label tells you exactly what it does, like Unify to "Tap" (copy the most-used sound onto the others) or Adopt "Mobile -16 LUFS" (match everyone to one loudness target). Some cards also offer Match tone to level-correct each sound without changing it.
5. Cards for missing sounds have no fix button. Click a node chip to select that layer in Figma, then attach a sound from the Browse tab.
6. Work through the cards until the report shows "All clear". Your sounds now feel like one set.
