# How do I generate several takes of one AI sound?

> After a generation, open Variation set, choose how many takes you want, and generate them as one batch. You see the cost of the whole set before anything is charged.

> **Note:** Each take is a separate call to your AI provider, so a set of four costs four generations. The estimated total sits next to the button that spends it.

> **Tip:** Every take in a set uses a different wording of your prompt, so you never pay twice for an identical request.

## Steps

1. Open the Create tab and go to AI Generate.
2. Write a prompt and generate one sound as usual.
3. Scroll to Variation set below the result.
4. Pick how many takes you want (2 to 4) and check the estimated cost of the set.
5. Generate the set. Each take appears as a card as it lands.
6. Play the cards, and turn on the spectrum comparison to see two takes side by side.
7. Keep the winner and discard the rest.
