# Motion inspector

_Sound for Motion · Sound Kit for Figma · Sound Kit Pro_

> Read a layer’s real interaction timing and easing

Select an animated layer and the Motion tab reads what Figma actually exposes: the prototype reaction’s duration, easing, trigger and delay, plus the Motion timeline and its keyframes where the Beta Motion API surfaces them. You are scoring the animation that exists, not one you remembered wrong.

## What it gives you

- **Real values, not guesses** — Duration, easing family, the exact custom cubic-bezier or spring, the trigger and its delay — read from the node’s own reactions.
- **One click to adopt** — The Motion Sync banner writes all of it into the editor at once, so you are not retyping numbers you can already see.
- **Suggestions that fit** — Sounds are ranked by whether their length and shape suit the animation in front of you.

## How to use it

1. Select an animated layer in Figma.
2. Open the Motion tab in Sound Kit.
3. Read the timing and easing it reports.
4. Pick from the suggested sounds and attach one.
