# Behaviour & state variations

_Edit & polish · Sound Kit for Figma · Sound Kit Pro_

> One sound, correctly wired for hover, press and disabled

A sound is not just a file — it is also when it fires, whether it interrupts, whether it loops, and how it changes across states. Sound Kit records that behaviour alongside the audio and can derive quieter, shorter hover and pressed variants from a single base sound.

## What it gives you

- **Behaviour travels with the sound** — Trigger, interrupt, loop and delay are stored on the sound and exported to developers.
- **Derived states** — Generate hover, pressed and disabled variants from one base so a set stays coherent.
- **Reusable templates** — Save an interaction setup once and apply it to every component of that kind.

## How to use it

1. Open a sound in Create → Edit.
2. Set its behaviour — trigger, interrupt, loop, delay.
3. Generate the state variations you need.
4. Save the setup as an interaction template so the next component inherits it.
