# How do I morph one shape into another (A → B)?

> Path morph blends the object between two paths as it travels — a shape-tween feel.

**Path morph** sends the object along path **A** while blending its position toward a second path **B**, so it appears to melt from one shape into another as it moves. It’s a real keyframe blend built on the same Motion pipeline — not a drawn-outline morph.

1. Open the **Morph** section and turn it on.
2. Select the vector you want as **path B** on the canvas and click **Set morph target** — its name shows in the section.
3. Choose how the two are corresponded (**Shape** matches by arc length) and, optionally, an **amount** to limit the blend.
4. Select the object (and path A), then **Apply** — or use **Add example to canvas** on a morph example to drop a ready-made A→B demo.

> **Note:** The morph target is remembered for the session (it isn’t saved into the file), so re-pick it if you reopen the plugin. See the **Path morph (A→B)** example under Transitions.
