# How do I sync presets to GitHub?

> Connect a repository to back up and share presets across files.

Open **Settings** (the gear in the footer) to connect a GitHub repository. Once connected, you can push presets to it and import them anywhere.

1. Create a personal access token (the **create one** link opens GitHub pre-filled) and paste it in.
2. Refresh and pick your **repository**, then set a branch and folder.
3. Save. On the **Presets** tab, use the upload / download icons to push and import, or enable **Auto-push new presets** in Settings.

> **Note:** Your token is stored locally on this device only — never in the file.
