# How do I make one object travel several paths in a row?

> Chain paths into an A → B → C journey on one timeline.

Turn on **Chain paths** to send one object down several path vectors in sequence — leg A → leg B → leg C — as a single timeline. Great for multi-leg journeys and story segments.

1. Enable **Chain paths**.
2. Select a path vector on the canvas and click **Add leg**. Repeat for each path, in the order you want them travelled — the ordered list shows each leg (remove one with ✕, or **Clear** to start over).
3. **Timing → Constant speed** keeps one speed across the whole trip (long legs take longer; the object slides across any gap between separate paths). **Equal per leg** gives every path an equal share of the timeline with instant cuts between them.
4. Select the object to animate (plus any legs still needed) and **Apply motion path**.

Each leg is travelled where it’s drawn, so lay the paths out end-to-end for a seamless journey, or apart for hops between them. The chain’s legs are remembered for the session; the on/off + timing save with presets.
