# How do I upgrade to Pro?

> Press Upgrade in the footer, or Get FigmaCharts Pro in any upgrade dialog. Checkout opens in your browser, and the licence key that arrives by email is what you paste back into the plugin.

> **Pro feature:** FigmaCharts Pro is $38 a year. The dialog shows it as the monthly equivalent — about $3.17 — with Billed yearly underneath.

> **Tip:** If the early-bird banner is showing at the bottom of the plugin, buy from the banner button rather than the plain Upgrade link. The banner carries the discount code through to checkout; the footer link does not.

> **Note:** Once you are on Pro, Manage Subscription in Settings → License & Subscription opens your orders page in the browser, where renewals and invoices live.

## Steps

1. On the free plan the footer reads Free Plan with an Upgrade link beside it. Press Upgrade to open checkout in your browser.
2. You will also hit the upgrade dialog whenever you click a locked chart or a paid feature. It lists what the plan includes and the price, and Get FigmaCharts Pro opens the same checkout — with the current discount already applied.
3. Pay in the browser. You can leave the plugin open in Figma while you do it — nothing in your chart is lost.
4. Your licence key arrives by email. Back in Figma, press I have a license key in the dialog, or open Settings from the footer and choose License & Subscription, then Enter License Key.
5. Once the key is accepted the footer swaps Free Plan for a PRO badge, every locked tile in the gallery opens, and the paid tabs in the editor come alive.
