# How do I get around the plugin?

> There are really only two screens: the gallery where you choose a chart, and the editor where you change it. The footer sits under both and holds Settings and Help.

> **Tip:** The small button floating in the very top-right corner is not part of any screen — it maximises the whole plugin window, from anywhere.

> **Note:** On the free plan the Animation, Export and AI tabs carry a PRO badge. Clicking one opens the upgrade dialog instead of the panel.

> **Note:** Your library and category choice survives a trip into the editor and back, so returning to the gallery drops you where you were rather than at the top.

## Steps

1. The home screen is the gallery. Along the very top sit Data, AI Generate and Import, with the palette selector pushed to the right of the same row.
2. Under that row are the library tabs — Google, HighCharts, D3 - Nivo, ApexCharts, ECharts — and beneath them the category chips that narrow the grid to one chart type.
3. Clicking a tile opens the editor: the live preview on the left, and a panel on the right with the Configuration, Data, Animation, Export and AI tabs.
4. The editor header carries the insert buttons on the right — + SVG and + PNG — and Back to Charts on the left, which returns you to the gallery.
5. The footer is on every screen. It shows your plan on the left and three buttons on the right: AI settings, Settings and Help.
6. Open Settings for License & Subscription, Chart Defaults — the background colour and size new charts start at — and GitHub Integration.
